Anderson Gymnastics Booster Club Agenda
August 1, 2000

1. Welcome to the AGBC
.......A. Introduction of Officers:
.................President - Cindy Corple, Vice-President - Marie Terrell, Treasurer - Ron Wilson,
................ Secretary - Tammy Sanders
.......B. Level Reps - Phone Chain:
................ We are going to use Level Reps again this year to help keep everyone informed.
................ Anyone interested, please contact Cindy Corple.

2. Credit Program for 2000-2001 competition year
.......A. Fees:
.................We will be using the credit program again this year.
.................There will, however, be NO credits given for attending the monthly meetings.
................ Each gymnast will have an account and credits earned will be placed in that account
.................to be used for meets or any other gymnastic need.

3. 2000-2001 Meet Schedule
.......A. Coupon Books:
.................We will be using the individual coupon books again this year.
.................For those of you who are new, each gymnast will have a coupon book
.................listing the various meets they will be able to go to in DUE DATE order.
.................Each gymnast will then be required to hand in every coupon on or before the due date
................ to let Ron know whether she is planning on going to that meet or not.
.................Please note that every coupon should be handed in whether attending the meet or not.

4. Fall Fund Raiser
.......A. Mum Sales:
.................Starting today, August 1, 2000, our Fall Fund Raiser is underway.
.................This is a good way to get money in your Booster Club account.
................ For each mum sold, the seller will receive $2.15 to be placed in their account
.................Orders and money are due at the next meeting, September 5, 2000.

5. Presidential Notes
.......A. Programs - Ads:
.................Like last year, we will have just one meet program for the whole year.
.................It is required for each member to contribute a $40 ad to this program.
.................Each member can either convince someone to buy an ad ($40/quarter page;$80/half page; $160/full page)
.................or they can simply wish their child (or team) good luck. Either way their account will reflect this $40 ad
.................deduction.
.................If you sell more than the required $40 ad, the Booster Club will split that money
.................and you will receive some money in your account. Please see Ron if you have questions concerning this.
.......B. Uniforms:
.................There have been some rumors that we are changing uniforms. Let it be known - we aren't.
.................If you weren't on team last year, you will need to purchase a uniform and warm-ups.
.................If you were on team last year and have out-grown your uniform, you will need to get a new one.
.................If you fall into one of the above categories, please let your coach know.
................ Depending on your size, we may be able to find a "used uniform" for you (which won't cost as much).
.......C. Florida Meet:
.................Need to see how much of an interest there is from the Level 5-9, & Boys
.................as to how many gymnasts will be going to the meet at the end of January, 2001.
.................If your child is on the Level 5-9 or Boys team and you are interested, please let Ron or Cindy know.
.......D. Popcorn Popper:
.................At the end of the year last year the Booster Club had tossed around the idea of buying a popcorn
.................popper for the meets (in lieu of renting it every time.)
.................It has been decided at this time to table that discussion until all of the gymnasts accounts are paid up.
.................If you have received your account sheet and you owe, please pay as soon as possible, Thank you.
.......E. Practice Times:
.................Starting August 21, 2000 the teams will be going back to the Fall Schedule.
.................If you have any questions about the times, please refer to the practice schedules on the various team pages.

6. Additional Business
.......A. Programs - Pictures:
.................In order to have the various pictures used in the Meet Program, we have set a date
.................for ALL teams to have their pictures taken at the gym.
.................That date is: September 8, 2000 from 4:00 - 6:30 (during practice).
.................Each gymnast needs to bring their competition uniform. For those that don't have a uniform,
.................we will see if we can find a child their size from a different team from which they can borrow the uniform
.................long enough for the picture. Even the Non-competitive Level 4 girls need to show up for this.
.......B. USAG Fees:
.................Any child competing in gymnastics will need to pay the USAG Fee for the year.
.................This fee is $45.00 per gymnast and is due on or before August 21, 2000.
.................Please be sure to get this paid in time so we can get the proper papers in the mail in time.
.................If paying by check, please make it payable to Anderson Gymnastics Booster Club
................. (Ron will make one lump sum payment.)
