The Booster Club now has its own page on this website. If you are a competitive team member's parent, please keep up to date by visiting the new page!
The last week of this session will be parent watch week. For the week of August 7th to August 10th, parents can come into the gym and watch the class from a closer perspective. Watch week allows you, the parents, to see how your child is doing and progressing with their gymnastics. It also allows you the opportunity to take pictures and videos. If you received the newsletter after your class and missed your chance to watch. Let Ron know if you would like to watch from inside the gym after the Fall session starts, and arrangements can be made.
On Saturday August 19th from 2:00-5:00 p.m., the gym will be open for everyone to come in and take a look at the gym. This would be a great time to come in and meet your instructor for your class in the fall and see who all is going to be in your class. We will be taking registrations for fall classes at this time. You will be able to go in the gym and try out the equipment. Refreshments will be served. Every half hour we will be having a drawing for a free t-shirt. After the open house we will draw for a free 8 week session of gymnastics.
Team Practice Times
The competitive teams will start practice the week of August 21st. Refer to the team practice schedules on their respective pages. Anyone who is competing will need to fill out a "gymnast profile" form (which you should have received with the regular newsletter.
Fall Classes Begin
There is less than a week left in this session (summer session). The Fall session will start the week of August 28th. Please note that there will be a 2 week break between the Summer and Fall sessions. The next seesion will be the first session of the new year. EVERYONE will have to re-register for the Fall session. Many of the classes offered in the Summer session will be offered for the Fall also. Check the various schedules on each class page to make sure your class will be offered for this next session.
Starting on September 1st, the gym will be open again on Friday evening from 6:30-8:30, and on Saturdays from 12:00-1:00. Please note that the price of Open Gym will increase this Fall due to a gradual increase in overhead over the past several years. The Friday Open Gym price will be $5.00 for current students, and $6.00 for non-students. The Saturday Open Gym price will be $3.00 for current students, and $4.00 for non-students. I hope this will not change your Friday night plans for Open Gym.
Labor Day Weekend
The gym will be closed on Monday September 4th in observance of Labor Day. If you take lessons on Monday evenings, you will either need to reschedule your class or pro-rate the seesion fee for the first session or pick up an open gym make-up pass. Sorry for this inconvenience.

Park Place/North Kids
There will not be gymnastics lessons during the summer at Park Place Children’s Center or at North Kids. Those students that are interested in continuing their gymnastics lessons can come to the gymnastics center for their lesson. Classes are offered in the evenings throughout the week. Call the gym for available class times and days or browse through the class flyer on the Preschool Page.
We have been putting a list together of the students that are ready to move up a level in their gymnastics class. We will try to talk to everyone on the advancement list before the fall session begins. If your child is on the list to move up, you will have several options. You can move to the next level, which may mean a time and/or a day change (and possible a change in tuition), or you could remain at the same level for another session or two. If you remain at the same level, progress may be slower, however there would still be progress. We will be moving some of the girls to the competitive/non-competitive teams. When we talk to you we will try to give you all of your options and will try to be as flexible as possible. If we do not get a chance to talk to you before the fall session, you will receive information in the mail at the beginning or middle of August. If you do not hear from us and you feel your child is ready to advance, call and talk to us any time.
